"Colorado River Sunrise" 20"x30" Oil painting in new custom frame. This is from a on location oil sketch and photos during a trip through Utah and Northern Arizona back in 1998. There is a highway on the far right of this new painting but I ddid not include it. I prefered it looking more natural and the highway did nothing for the painting. It is south of Moab, Utah. Unbelievably beautiful and amazing country!

I recently finished this piece after a somewhat extended stay in VA Healthcare hospital. I found the sketches but had a to do quite a search for the slide. Found it and all my references and got to work. I hope you enjoy it.
